Essential guidelines and documents for healthcare professionals
The documents on this page are intended for use by neonatal clinical teams working within the Northern Neonatal Operational Delivery Network (ODN). They are designed to support consistent, evidence-informed practice and should be used alongside clinical judgement, local policies and relevant national guidance.
Although publicly accessible, these documents are written for healthcare professionals and may contain clinical terminology and guidance not intended for parents or families. Parent and family information is available in the Parent and Family Information section of the website.
Users should ensure they are accessing the most recent version of each document. Responsibility for the use and implementation of these documents rests with the individual organisation and clinical team. The Northern Neonatal ODN cannot accept responsibility for the use of superseded documents, documents beyond their review date, or guidance applied outside its intended context.
Some guidelines used by Clinical teams across the network have been written by external organisations, but have been approved for use across the Neonatal Network.
